Hi everyone! I am Mayra Patino. I currently reside in Bakersfield, CA and I am 24 years old. After four years of debating whether to start a blog, I finally did and I am super excited to be able to share my passions with you all. A little about myself..I graduated in the Fall of 2015 from Cal State University of Bakersfield with my Bachelor's degree in Business and Management. After graduating college I was fortunate to have landed a job as a full-time Physician Liaison for a private medical practice in town. Two years of experience later, a better opportunity for me arose, and I ran with it. I am now a Community Liaison in a similar medical field and I love my job. Change is definitely good, and I'm grateful for the work-life balance I am able to have with my job. It allows me to work on my other passions.
Sidenote: Sometimes when you get into the routine of things, such as getting a new job, or making decent money, you can get too comfortable. You might forget what it is you wanted to accomplish in your life, what your passions are, or what excites you. Don't ever forget the things that make you happy. Search for your passion! For me, I am passionate about.. fashion, animals, and helping others. My other interests are.. beauty, travel, art, food, and wine. I simply wanted to create this blog so that I could have a place to be creative and to share a little about my world and the things that interest me. With this blog I hope to inspire others, whether it's as simple as inspiring your fashion & beauty choices, places to visit, or even volunteering in your local community. But lastly, I hope and encourage you all to follow your dreams and to do what you love. If you don't know what it is you want to do with your life yet, don't overthink it. Life happens. You live, you learn, you grow, and you can change your mind. It's okay, you are entitled to do so!
Okay well that is all for now. I hope you will enjoy reading my posts as much as I enjoy creating them. Now, I'm sure there are many of you out there who have a similar passion as I do, so let's collaborate, get creative, and inspire each other!
IF YOUR DREAMS DON'T SCARE YOU THEY AREN'T BIG ENOUGH
Earlier this year, in the Spring to be exact, I fell in love with San Diego. I put it out there that I would be moving to San Diego this year one way or another. I was serious about it. I updated my resume and sent it out to multiple Healthcare companies in the area. I wrote cover letters, and tried to find connections wh...
